Testimonials
At DMC Foundation we are constantly striving to produce the best results for our clients. Below are a number of unsolicited comments, which indicate we are having some success:
Miller's Place
"Dear Staff at Miller's Place,
I wanted to write once again and thank you all for the kindness love and respect you always showed our mother, Maria Oliveira. I cannot find the words to express our gratitude for the care our dear mother received at Miller's Place. Everyone has been wonderful - especially the caregivers.
We thank you again for all you have done for her and for us.
May God bless all of you abundantly."

Day Care for Adults Helps Her Heal
(Printed in The Modesto Bee "Letters to the Editor")
"Miller's Place is an adult day care and therapy facility for adults with cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer's disease. We who go there feel cared for by a staff of loving, caring and well-qualified persons.
My reason for going there is recovery following a stroke and deep depression. There are several areas set aside for activities, meals and arts and crafts. Also, there are reclining chairs along one wall. The noon meals are flavorful and nutritious.
Let's hear it for Miller's Place! My zest for living has returned and my confidence is improving every day."

Lifeline Emergency Response System
My 89 year old Dad lived in the country and loved to garden. He had a history of falling and then having great difficulty in getting up. With Lifeline, he could safely pursue his hobby and I could have peace of mind knowing that if he fell, help would be on the way!
- Joanne Lyions
I am 85 years young and Lifeline has given me a sense of security. I am never alone when I have my Lifeline. My family is very happy that I have this service. It makes them feel better knowing that I can get help immediately when they are not around.
- Betty Graham
After mom had a fall in the night and was unable to get help, my sister and I decided immediately to call Lifeline. Lifeline has given all of us peace of mind knowing that help is only minutes away in any crisis, day or night.

Hi, I am Harold Rindberg. I have been with Lifeline every since my wife passes away three years ago. When I informed my daughters, who live in Oregon, they were very relieved as I am 86 and living alone. They were worried if I had a fall or any other emergency, no one would know. With Lifeline, all I have to do is push my button and I have all the help I need - whether it's an ambulance, fire rescue truck or any one of my three neighbors who have keys to my house.
Recently, one of our residents who live alone fell outside his home and laid there for more than 5 minutes before anyone heard his call for help. If he had Lifeline, help would have been there within a few minutes. Anyone who lives alone should have Lifeline!

"My mother, Ceilla Riebe had your Lifeline unit in her home for many years. It was given to her as a gift by her prayer group, but then she continued with it as she saw how important it was. Her link to help - an elderly woman, wheel-chair bound, could now be sure she could signal in an emergency. And though she may have used it only a few times, what a comfort to her family and friends. Thank you for your program. God bless you all!"
Her son, William F. Riebe
CPR Training
"DMC Foundation's service in arranging the class was prompt, the training very beneficial, and the consideration of follow up after the class was appreciated. There is no doubt that we will continue to use DMC Foundation in future."

Childbirth and Family Education
"I teach the pregnant and parenting students at Downey High School. We have received services from DMC Foundation for several years, including a visiting Health Educator, who works with our students in class on a variety of topics including, prepared child birth, breast feeding, nutrition, and newborn care. The staff from DMC Foundation is caring, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic - the teen moms really look forward to their classes, and we consider them a vital part of our program!"

Health Education Scholarships
"I was such an honor to receive one of the several scholarships Doctors Medical Center Foundation gives out to students, and I appreciate your generosity immensely. I will be attending UCLA in the fall as a nursing major, and this award helped make that possible. Thanks again."
Sincerely, Shannon Cloherty
Kids Works
"As always, excellent and relevant. The kids seem to relate to the content and the way it is presented. I would like this program, or another presentation, again next year. All the programs we've seen are excellent!"
