Club FIT - Mall Walking at Vintage Faire Mall
DMC Foundation is a sponsor of the Club FIT (Fitness Inside Track) mall walking program that is free and open to the public.
Club FIT members are welcome to walk inside the Vintage Faire Mall starting at 6 a.m. every day. For security reasons, members must enter through Door #30 (located near JC Penney) and sign in. Members may walk as long as they want, and one lap around the mall, including alcoves, is ½ mile. Mall walkers stay safe and exercise walk in a temperature-controlled environment.
Club FIT members enjoy a support group atmosphere that exists through the mutual encouragement of mall walkers. Many members have formed new friendships and regularly meet for coffee or breakfast.
Members receive a membership card good for discounts at select Vintage Faire Mall stores. Rewards are offered for members who track their mileage on the Club FIT mileage card and submit it to mall Guest Services. The member who logs the most miles in a quarter is designated the Mall Walker of the Quarter, acknowledged in the newsletter and Quarterly Breakfast, and honored with a gift from a participating Club FIT sponsor.
Members are invited to Quarterly Breakfasts that feature health and wellness guest speakers, and a complimentary breakfast. They also receive a quarterly newsletter with Club FIT events, health tips and recipes.
