What are the benefits?

When you volunteer, you’re not just helping others—you’re helping yourself. You get the satisfaction of using your skills to make a difference in the lives of your fellow residents and neighbors. In addition, you get to meet other active adults of all ages. Also, studies show that volunteering helps you live longer and promote a positive outlook on life. How much time will it take?

RSVP members are busy people involved with their families, friends and communities. Your RSVP work is tailored to your schedule and interests, and becomes and important part of a fulfilled lifestyle.

How do I get started?

Simply fill in the form on the brochure and return it to the RSVP Office or call 209.527.3412. RSVP staff will meet with you to discuss your interests and experiences, your time commitments and the available volunteer opportunities.

How does RSVP work?

RSVP is a link between the resources of older adult volunteers and the need of other older adults in our community. RSVP is financially supported by contributions from the government, local business sponsors and individuals.
